Erotic Movie of the Week - Room in Rome

This week's erotic movie is 2010's Room in Rome. This movie stars Elena Anaya and Natasha Yarovenko as two women who meet and end up sharing a hotel room and each other. The sex scenes are sensual and so erotic. Just the passion they exude is reason enough to watch this movie. The rest of it is good, too. Enough said.

Erotic Movie of the Week - Threesome

Cover of "Threesome"Cover of Threesome This week's erotic movie is Threesome. This 1994 movie starred Stephen Baldwin (before he went Charlie Sheen nuts) as a guy who liked Lara Flynn Boyle (who used to sleep with Jack Nicholson), who liked Josh Charles (who has a pretty good career going right now), who liked Stephen Baldwin (who is still Tea Party nuts). Confused? Don't be. It's a film about sexual attraction that gets so pent up, it has no choice but to come out. The last sex scene when it's the three of them is amazing.
I was going to save this movie until later but I'm doing it as a special request by Cande. If you'd like to suggest a movie, blog, or song to be showcased on the blog, just let me know. Here's the trailer for the movie.

Erotic Movie of the Week - the Lover (L'Amant)

Cover of "The Lover"Cover of The LoverThis week's erotic movie is the Lover (L'Amant). The Jean-Jacques Annaud directed movie stars Jane March as an underaged French girl and Tony Leung Ka Fai as a Chinese aristocrat who is soon to be wed in an arranged marriage. They begin to have an illicit affair.
The movie is beautifly shot. The plot is based on the Marguerite Duras novel and is solid. The sex scenes are erotic and beautiful. There were rumors going around at the time that the sex scenes were real. According to Jane March, they were not, as she turned 18 just before the movie started filming. The movie is actually worth watching for more than the sex scenes, though and it's streaming on Netflix.

Here's the trailer for the movie.

Bonus: here are some of the sex scenes.

Erotic Movie of the Week - 9 Songs

I think I'm going to start a new feature this week. This week's erotic movie of the week is 9 Songs. This 2004 Michael Winterbottom directed movie was shown at both the Sundance Film Festival and Toronto Film Festival and stars Kieran O'Brien and Margo Stilley. Here's the plot, as described on the Wikipedia page.
"The film tells the modern love story set over a period of 12 months in London, England of a young couple: Matt, a British climatologist, and Lisa, an American exchange student. The story is framed in a personal review from Matt's perspective when he is working in Antarctica. Their main common interest is a passion for live music and they frequently attend rock concerts together; the film depicts the couple, or Matt alone, watching nine songs at Brixton Academy and other concert venues. It also shows their weekend getaway into the countryside, and their travels around London. Lisa brings their short and intense relationship to an end at Christmas time when she returns home to the United States."
That's about as much plot as you really need to get through, since the plot seems to be built around showing the 9 rock bands performances that are shown in the movie (hence the title 9 Songs) and the soft hardcore porn. As long as you know all of that going in, you'll enjoy the movie. In short, it's an art house porno but the sex scenes are hot, since they're real and leave nothing to the imagination.

Here's the trailer for the movie, which is proof yet again that the trailers are better and more interesting than the actual movie. The movie itself is on Netflix's instant stream.

As an added bonus, here's one of the sex scenes from the movie.
