I feel coming on a strange disease - Humility - By Hard Rust.
Everyone knows Hard Rust is a complete bastard. After all, it says so in his profile. Hard is completely amoral with no redeeming qualities whatsoever.
This last Sunday, however, an uneasy state fell upon him and he was forced to deal with something totally alien to his being. It was during The Sexiest Awards ceremony, an annual event held to honor the community of SL pornography machinima for their work. The ceremony has all the trappings of a Hollywood awards show, including a Red Carpet, formal attire, hosts (the lovely and talented Fang Aries, Owner of the Clit Pit, and the ever sexy Dirtylilpoet), live music numbers (Noma Falta) and performance acts (Kai Barineaux and the Viva la Glam dancers of Virtual Burlesque), and of course, awards for categories like Best Film and Best Actor, as well as Best Anal and Best Oral Sex.

SL Porn Tube and checking some out. There are a lot of very good movies.
Emmanuelle Jameson, who is not only the defacto leader of the SL Porn movement, but also one of the sweetest people you will ever meet, pulls this event together each year and turns it into a classy, well-run event. Last year I helped Emma with the event by organizing the judging committee, an un-envyable task that this year fell to poor Pixie Rain, who did a far better job than I.
The Awards proceeded smoothly and professionally, with Fang and Poet's sexy voices reading the nominees and announcing the winners. All the nominations were well deserved, and I am sure the judges had a very hard time deciding on the winners. There were some amazing advances in SL porn movies over 2011, both technically and artistically. You can view the list of

I was up for several awards, and was very honored to have made it as a nominee considering how old and out of date my movies looked compared to the movies being made today. Like I said, there was some very stiff (pun intended) competition this year, so I was really surprised when I actually won the award for Best Anal scene. Technically, Candace Flossberg should have gotten an award, too, since it was her ass being fucked in
"Serving it up Hot!".

Then I got an even bigger surprise. Near the end of the ceremony Fang and Poet announced a special award. One that was not on the agenda. Fang told a touching story of her early days in SL and how she fondly remembered her visits to Hard Alley. Then she and Poet presented me with a Lifetime Achievement Award.
Normally, Hard Rust loves to brag and boast and sing his own praises, but at this moment I could not think of anything to say, other than "Thank you".
Over the last few weeks I have been greatly humbled by the number of people that have rallied to support Hard Alley, and this award was like the icing on the cake.
In February, I will once again be producing SL porn movies. I have several projects ready to shoot, and I'm excited about them. I will have to work extremely hard for my work to not suck, compared to some of the movies being produced today, but I plan on giving it a try. I'll also be continuing to improve Hard Alley and give people a fun place to play out their naughty fantasies.
Lifetime Achievement doesn't stop. It goes on for a lifetime. It's my job to continue to be as deserving of this award as I can.
