Boz Scaggs. He's got a few different sexy songs but I'll put those up as the weeks go on. We'll start, however, with my favorite Boz song: the 1980 hit Miss Sun. The song was written by the guys who would eventually form the 1980s group Toto. Those same guys started out as songwriters and
session musicians, playing on numerous songs and albums, such as this song and also
Beat It by
Michael Jackson.
This song was far from being Boz's biggest hit. It only reached as high as number 14 on the
Billboard singles chart. However, it's my favorite song of his. The
female vocals, by the way, were sung by
Canadian singer
Lisa Dalbello.
