Born on July 25th in Montana, Tera Patrick is both beautiful and brilliant. In two years she has sky rocketed to the number one position in her field. She’s the host of two successful shows, she’s received more awards than anyone in the business and her face has decorated the cover of every erotic magazine, including Playboy and Penthouse. In 1998 Tera received a degree in nursing and is naturally concerned with the well being of mankind. Although she’s currently on a leave of absence from the medical community, Tera goes out of her way to replace pain with pleasure. In the last year Tera has donated thousands of dollars to charities like the 911 Fireman’s Fund and she’s raised thousands more for adult industry benefits supporting the Free Speech Coalition and A.I.M. Healthcare.
Tera Patrick was discovered in San Francisco when she was 13 and subsequently moved to New York to pursue a career in modeling. She worked as a model and appeared on the runway until she was 18. At this time, she quit modeling to attend State University in Idaho. With a resurfacing desire to be in front of the camera, Tera transferred to California and returned to modeling, where she met a scout from Playboy. Tera began appearing in magazine after magazine and she soon caught the attention of Joone, Digital Playground’s founder. When Joone, and his partner Samantha Lewis, met Tera Patrick, they were immediately taken by her poise and elegance. Digital Playground signed her to a five-year contract, and a star was born.
Within months, Tera was named Penthouse Pet and Hustler Honey. Then Digital Playground got her an audition for Playboy TV’s “Nightcalls 411”. She was hired for the show on the spot. Since Tera’s involvement with “Nightcalls 411”, the show skyrocketed to the number one spot. Her wide appeal was recognized immediately and Playboy executives asked Tera to represent Playboy TV worldwide in their Oasis campaign. Due to popular demand, in June of 2001, Tera Patrick was asked to renew her contract with Playboy and host “Nightcalls 411” in its’ new season. In January 2002, with the highest ratings ever already under their belt, Playboy executives made a unanimous decision to re-sign Tera for another stellar year.
In May of 2000, just five months after signing with Digital Playground, Tera walked away from the Cannes Film Festival with the award for “Best New Starlet”. Later in 2000, Tera received “Best New Starlet” from Cyber Adult Video Review and from Nightmoves magazine. In January of 2001 Tera was awarded “Best New Starlet” at the AVN Award Show and Genesis magazine named her “Best NewCummer”. In March, Tera received the honor from Adam Film World, in April, the X.R.C.O. presented her with the “Best New Starlet” title and in July, F.O.X.E. presented Tera with the “Vixen” award. Tera is the ONLY girl to receive the “Best New Starlet” title from every voting authority. In May of 2001, exactly one year after Tera’s first accolade, she received the Hot D’Or award for “Best American Actress”, her ninth award in one year. Additionally, Tera’s signature DVD with Digital Playground, Virtual Sex with Tera Patrick was awarded “Best Interactive DVD” by AVN, Empire and A.M.E.E..
In October of 2001, Tera Patrick placed 18th in Stuff magazine’s “69 sexiest people, places and positions of 2001”, making her the 2nd sexiest woman on the list. Island Fever went on to receive accolades from AVN. They declared it the ‘Best Video Rental in 2001’, and Tera’s performance received accolades for ‘Best Tease Performance’. Later in 2002, Adult DVD Empire acknowledged Island Fever at their award show, presenting trophies for ‘Best Selling DVD’, ‘Best All Sex DVD’ and ‘Best Audio Quality’.
Shortly after this run of events, Tera Patrick appeared on the Howard Stern Show with AVN Publisher, Paul Fishbein. Howard was instantly struck by Tera’s natural beauty and offered her a leading role in his national Son of a Beach series. Although Tera was unavailable for the season, Howard continues to praise her regularly and has re-run Tera’s episode of the show a multitude of times.
Her third production with Digital Playground, Forbidden Tales, was the industries most anticipated production of 2001. When Forbidden Tales was released, it shot to the top of the charts. By early 2002, this production has already earned a bevy of prestigious awards, including the ‘People’s Choice Award’ from Adult DVD Reviews, and Empire’s ‘Viewers’ Choice’, ‘Best Feature’ and ‘Best Menu Design’ awards. These continued accolades confirm the growth of Tera Patrick’s demand in the marketplace.
Tera hosts her own live, interactive web-chat, appropriately titled, “Tera Show”. It’s edgy, revealing format and intriguing guests have made this show a ‘must see’ for industry professionals and consumers everywhere. It airs every other Tuesday and on over 300 affiliate web sites with thousands of viewers. Besides an opportunity to interact with Tera, show guests receive an inordinate amount of press and exposure resulting in an immediate increase of sales and profits. Early in 2002, Adult Stars Magazine held an Award Show reflecting the opinions of their readers. These readers selected “Tera Show” as the “Best Interactive Web site.”

In February of 2002, Penthouse magazine gave Tera Patrick the cover of their publication and named her Penthouse Pet of the Year Runner Up. Tera went on to shock the world when she made the cover of Playboy magazine the following month. Tera is the only person in history to appear on the cover of both publications at the same time and the only Penthouse Pet to be featured on the cover of Playboy.
In March, Tera headlined Stuff magazines web site and they used her image and name in a print ad promoting it. Glamour magazine also quoted her in a sexy editorial and Tera began appearing in a television advertisement for Bill O’Reilly. The same month, Playboy TV announced that Nightcalls 411 ranked the number one spot and upped Tera’s contract as host of the successful show. Tera’s sexy charm and comfort in the spotlight, made her the natural choice for XRCO. They asked her to host their 14th annual award show and she wooed the audience.
Tera has proved her demand in cable markets worldwide as well. Direct TV chose Tera Patrick for the cover model of their 2002/2003 marketing campaign and Playboy contracted Tera to appear in a series of commercials designed to promote their cable shows for the next 5 years.
In the summer of 2002, Cyber Adult Video Reviews declared Tera the pornstar of the 2000th decade and the F.O.X.E. named her “Fan Favorite”. Broadcast news reports captured Tera’s overwhelming popularity with fans at Erotica LA where thousands and thousands of men and women, of every descent, lined up to get her autograph. In July, Tera volunteered her time to host a fashion benefit for VIAAC, raising tens of thousands of dollars for various AIDS charities around the world. At the same time, Tera was featured on the home pages of popular men’s lifestyle web sites, Beer and H6K and Vibe magazine ran editorial on the megastar.
Before summer was over, Tera made news again, appearing on the cover of three mainstream publications, Front, Bizarre and Fridge. She was also featured prominently in Stun magazine in a glowing editorial about Digital Playground’s Virtual Sex series. As the leaves began to change color, Tera traveled to Florida where she hosted the Nightmoves Award Show. The organization named Forbidden Tales the years’ Best DVD and Digital Playground received an award for Best Film / Video Company.
Even with her incessant popularity, Tera has remained the same sweet girl from Montana. Although Tera is every man’s bedroom fantasy, she is still the girl every man dreams of taking home to meet mom.
