Could it have been those first encounters with felt story boards in Sunday school? Or maybe it was the years of reading illustrated Biblical stories that established Jesus as my equivalent to other little girls' Ken dolls? All I know is that I have always been attracted to men who resemble the conventional image of Jesus. Something about those Bambi brown eyes, shaggy hair,and scruffy beard seems to be almost magnetic for me. I know, I know, it's borderline sacreligious, but I can't help it- and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one ;)
*Now, I realize that there are no known records of what Jesus' human persona looked like, but its always fun to imagine and I am in no way disrespecting my own faith, just musing.
