Movie Review : Sketched : Episode One : By Nikki Arlington

Sketched Ep1 is an epic bar raiser! All involved should be proud, and some major editing needs to be done on every bodies resume who was anywhere near this production! It's well and truly a masterpiece in terms of technical skills, looks, and how it relays it's very fun story.

Nikki sent me these great screen shots of the movie when i requested them for the blog. So i'm going to continue with a little gallery after my review. Along with of course the movie. All after the JUMP at the foot of this post.

Sketched takes a genre of the Second Life adult scene I've enjoyed and loved, and featured on the blog here several times. Through photographers such as Deelite Zenovka. Which is comic book porn. This is brought to the screen in flawless style by Nikki Arlington, and with it comes a unique movie of high quality. The comedy, fun, stylish shots and scenes, and bright plot sits naturally too in the comic book universe. I found it truly fitting Deelite was involved and cast in this film too, it was a great touch.

You can deliver stories so well in this format and Nikki's classy movie making has taken full advantage. Explanations, text to set up scenes, and dialogue all sit organically and perfectly naturally within a comic book format. Meaning you can tell a elaborate story so well in a short space of time. Bypassing headaches for many Director's, and delivering the viewer a movie full of fun and substance without action grinding to a halt, or an inkling of boredom. It really does flow so well, and fluidly.

The cast look fantastic. The Sketched format transforming them, but still allowing their Second Life personality, and looks to shine through.

We've had a few land mark movies that have really raised the bar released on our Second Life Porn scene. I can think of a few, Rysan Fall's Executive Encounter, Emmanuelle Jameson's La Cagna Ricca, Pixie Rain's Stand Off, and recently Tutsy's Metasex. All these movies excelled by using innovations which made them stand out. Sketched must now sit among these movies for innovation, production values, and finding a stand out formula which sends it and others made with the same passion and dedication over the bar.

One of the best aspects, this is Episode One! So we can look forward to much more to come. As you all can imagine, with a Director this driven to succeed, and delivering us quality like this, with a winning formula, where the sky is the limit. Part Two is a very hot mouth watering prospect!

Virtual Reality Sex Toys Creator Sues Second Life: Get 'Em Outta' My Bed

Kevin Alderman (inset, right), a virtual world entrepreneur whom Wired called 'Second Life's Porn Mogul,' filed a copyright and trademark infringement suit against Second Life's corporate owner, Linden Research, commonly known as Linden Labs.  The suit charges that the company profits from the counterfeit sales by others of his company's products, and that it doesn't effectively monitor and police infringers from selling counterfeit virtual goods on the site. Shannon Grei (below), a real-world proprietor of virtual world clothing for Second Lifecharacters, is a co-plaintiff in the suit

Eros, LLC, Alderman's company, makes millions selling virtual reality sex beds and other adult-themed products under the trademarked 'SexGen^®' name on Second Life.

If you think sex only sells in the real world, think again.  Second Life users apparently can't get enough virtual foreplay and action in their lives.  The lawsuit claims that "Eros counts over 100,000 active Second Life users as customers."  Co-plaintiff Grei claims to have "sold hundreds of thousands of her Nomine products within Second Life."

If the lawsuit's allegations are true, though, you might not want to quit your day job just yet.  It seems that no matter how many times graphic designers and creators of virtual world products sell their copyright-right and trademark protected goods onSecond Life, folks are inclined to illegally copy and resell them without legal permission.

Eros and Grei charge that Linden Lab's doesn't do enough to stop the sale of copyright and trademark-protected wares on Second Life, and profits from these sales.  According to their lawsuit Linden takes a cut from every financial transaction between virtual world characters, whether it involves the sale of pretend goods, upload feeds, or the conversion of LindeX virtual world currency into real-world dollars.

Their attorney Michael Aschenbrener told FindLaw that Alderman has been battling copyright and trademark infringement of his products on Second Life "for more than five (5) years." He sued to individual infringers in the past, without too much success. According to Aschenbrener, people just keep hawking counterfeit Eros's products.

But what motivated Alderman to go beyond suing individual infringers, the attorney said, was that he got tired of constantly having to send DMCA take down notices to Linden Labs, with reportedly ineffective results.

***NEW MOVIE DEBUT***THE YACHT CLUB***NEW JENNNNNA MOVIE***

Well, I've teased you with it long enough. Here it is, my latest movie, THE YACHT CLUB. An all star cast takes to the seas in this Second Life adventure aboard Ruff Brocco's yacht. Eventually they head below and the well hung crew initiates the sexy female passengers into the "The Yacht Club" by shooting their loads after blow jobs, threesomes, anal and interracial sex.

This movie was quite an adventure to make. It started as an all star shoot for Ruff Brocco on his fantastic yacht. But when he crashed, it seemed like a waste not to film all that talent. So even though I directed it, in my mind, this is as much Ruff's shoot as mine.

I've spent a lot of time trying to color each shot. So I hope you like the look of it. I also hate when SL moves hair and arms into bodies. Tried to limit that and crop it where I could, but a few shots were too good not to do that.

The shoot was a marathon session of dancing and sex. It lasted for over 3 hours and the whole cast was wonderfully patient and sexy. They all stayed and enjoyed themselves as long as they could. And i think they enjoyed the experience.

The cast is filled with some of the biggest names in SL adult films and also includes some great newcomers. I'm grateful to the great AmyKitten Parx for letting us film her. She was such a good sport and so great to work with for such a big star in her own right.

The cast also includes stars like the very lovely Aliyah Piers, Bliss Silvansky, Brandy Maesar, Gillian Gemini, Jacqueline Kenin and myself. It also has sexy male stars which include the very hot Phillip Nadir, the always sexy Hunter Cyr, Keith12222 Dean, Kinslayer Nightfire, who has worked with Amy, and Dream Lagan.

I'm also proud to introduce the very lovely and amazingly sexy Chicca Karu and Ste Serpente. Both are so beautiful and sensual. They are really the stars of the movie along with Amy. And I think you will want to see them in many other features.
